Hey people,

I haven't been on RevitCity for a while... change of Jobs and moving house etc... anyhow I have been busy adding lot of new stuff to my blog site www.revitup.co.za hopefully you will find some good ideas and tips etc.

I was going over your tips on phasing. How do you create an animation after you phase your model?

Thanks for the comment....

The pahsing animation was a bit process, but basically I duplicated the 3D view about 30 times and applied a different phase to each view. Then exported out the 3D Views as images (this can at least be done in one go by picking the sheets you wish to export). I download a free Giff animation tool (there are lots you can get through Google) this tool then lets you pick all the images and wraps them into a single animated Giff file.

I really would like Autodesk to add a Phasing animation export like the one for Solar Studies.... many people have asked how i created the phasing animation, so it seems something that could be of good use...maybe they will put one in, or a company such as Avatech http://www.revitup.co.za/_mgxroot/page_10832.html will write one for us all :o)
