I'm trying export my walkthough path from Revit Architecture 2008 to Autodesk Viz 2008. My carmera angles and model will export but my path will not. I've tried to export while editting the path, while in the camera view of the walkthrough, and more unsuccessfull attempts than you can think of. The walkthrough runs fine but it's choppy and skips every other frame. Please help some one.

Doesn't this question belong in Tips & Tricks?

Tips and Tricks is for sharing a solution. Not for asking for a Tip or Trick HTH

Has this issue not been brought up before? No one has attempted to even begin to help me with this issue which is strange because this is the Technical Support forum where technical issues are discussed and solved. I was hoping to get this issue solved in Tips and Tricks but IT SEEMS it is frowned upon even though there are several other posts that has questions in them which is also strange. All I want to know is if Revit has not been updated yet to do this. That’s really all I want to know now. In case you all forgot, I’m using Revit Architecture 2008. Besides telling us where questions go, try answering one, huh???

I've only ever done walkthroughs in Revit and haven't done much in VIZ in years, but it sounds like the problem might be when you export to the final avi file (or whaever format you are exporting to.) Have you tried changing the settings there - reducing image size, etc? Sorry if this isn't helpful for Viz; but I know its made a difference in my Revit walkthroughs. I hear a deadline in your "voice" and understand the stress of that, but the moderators are just trying help all of us.

Ummm, yeah...I was just picking on chicken because I knew that Mr. Spot had already had to tell him to post in the right forum. For the record, I'm going to back slowly away and distance myself from chicken's newest comment. At this point, if I DID know the answer, I'm fairly sure that I wouldn't provide it.

My apologies for the ingnorent dispute about this issue I was having with Revit. I was informed by my co-worker today at work that this isn't an offical Autodesk technical support website and that it's basicly user based technical support. Again, I apologize.
