My site slopes and I need to step the concrete foundation wall to keep the stone veneer close to the grade line. I have created a stacked wall type with 12" concrete below and framing and veneer above. Do I need to split the wall vertically (in elevation view) and create a different wall type for each change in foundation wall height? Thanks for any guidance you can offer.

No, just put multiple walls of the same type end to end and join geometry. In that way, the change of material is always the same height off your foundation.
