Hi. Im wondering if its possible to have different dimension types set to different layers whan exporting to dwg. Seems like a logical request but I cant figure out if its possible. Smile

I don't think so.  And why would this seem logical.  REVIT outputs your views with their associated dimensions - no need to be like AutoCAD and have to have different dimension layers.

Its logical when you have to export the files to give to consultants and they need to have the interior dims and exterior dims on seperate layers. Its all fine and dandy in Revit but when it comes down to exporting, it sucks! And we have to export becaue our consultants use autocad and we have to send it out in autocad for the government.
