I started a plumbing fixture family with a wall host default file. The wall thickness is 6". When I insert the component into a model with an 8" Nom. CMU wall, the component is inserted 1" into the wall. I understand that the 6" wall in the family is the reason, but is there a way to insert the component without changing the wall size in the family to fit the wall size of the model?

If you base the massing off of the wall faces reference plane as opposed to the wall centerline, then the component will base itself on the wall face in the model, regardless of wall thickness.
