in revit 2008 archi, how do you remove the brick coursing/tile pattern from the elevations.

Edit the Wall type- either change the material used for the brick leaf, or edit the brick leaf material to remove the model hatch pattern.

You can also select the wall, right click, choose :Override graphics in view-> and choose category (effecting all walls) and uncheck the visible option in in the walls row, and patterns column.

The difference is that what IDN101 tells you to do turns off the hatch in every view, everywhere, while the above turns it off only in that view.

Your desired end result for the construction set is what will determine which method you use.

Just thought of another one!

 How about painting the faces (of the walls where you don't want to see the hatch) using the Paint Tool (with a unhatched material selected)?
