This morning I encountered the following message:  "Linked file [File name] cannot be saved because it has changes in more than just shared coordinates and therefore can invalidate local files owned by you."  The only option is "OK".I can still see the linked file; I can reload it from the location on our server successfully.  However, when I save to central I receive the same message as posted above.  I tried to remove the linked file and reload, and received the following message: "cannot get center of imported geometry in view to place import. imported file will not be centered on current view."

I expanded the view range to capture miles of model space and cannot see the import.  Under link manager it is not listed as being linked.  Teh physical file location and name on our servers match and appear unchanged.  To my knowledge nothgin was done to this file over the weekend.

Does anyone know what went wrong here?  Have you seen these messages before?  How can I specify an origin location in a REVIT file equivalent to a CAD 0,0,0?

I resolved this issue by removing the links and reinserting them into the file.  The origins on two seperate linked files appear to have lost their elevation relationship, which is why initially I could not see them; they were significantly below and off center.  I still do not know what caused the issue and welcome an explanation if anyone has any information on this issue. Thank you

That is interesting. I wonder what can be done to fix it because it reoccurs.
