Using Revit Architecture 2008. I'm comfortable using the family editor to create my own parametric components. However, I've never created my own lighting fixture. Obviously I use the standard lighting fixture template as a starting point. But what I don't know / understand is... What actually creates the light? (ie which part of the family creates the light when you render the scene?) Is is the geometry? The materials? Not sure where to start with this one! Many thanks, Regards, Ian
