I am trying to get a basic wall hatch in my plan.  I want a 45 degree diagonal hatch in my cut walls.  But if my walls are not 0 or 90 degrees then the hatch does not look right.  The hatch is set to run at 45 degrees regardless of what angle my walls are running.  SO when I do draw an angled wall (in this case 45 degrees) the hatch virtually dissapears because it is running parallel with the wall.  Is there a way to orient the hatch pattern to run 45 degrees dependent of the angle my wall is at?  Does this make sense?  I can post a picture of it if need be.

Fill patterns (drafting) have three types of orientation:  Orient to View, Keep Readable, and Align with Element.
Either edit your pattern to Align with Element or better yet create a new pattern with that property and indicate the alignment in the name of your pattern.  To adjust add patterns go to Settings>Fill Patterns then select the one in question and hit the edit button.  There you will be able to adjust the orientation value.
