Hello all, first time post of a long time lurker.

I am trying to figure out a way to parametricize my fillet arcs in some custom profile families I am creating.  It seems like those "dimensions" just can't have parameters added to them like regular dimensions.  Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for having a look.  I have attached the file.

Basically, our viz dep't does very high-end renderings in Max/Vray and prefer fillets on certain things when rendering to catch nice highlights and such.  You will notice in the file there is a 1/8" fillet on all the corners of the mullion profile.  We are trying to parametricize this dimension so it could be dialed into whatever we need it to be before exporting to 3dsMax in much the same way we have the other key dimensions parametricized.

Very much appreciated.

try this one now,

remember constraints and ref planes you need them all.

i only did bottom right fillet. which inturn does bottom left fillet. you will need too ref planes one vert one horz for your top fillets. then use the align comand to align the endpoint of the vert line to ref plane. then place in 3 dims as bottom right.

Oh sweet.  That makes total sense.  I was trying to figure out a way to drive the radial dimension of the arc itself rather than end points of the arc.  Thank you so much for your help!

no problem, as you said you think that you just drive the arc but you have to drive the arc and the end points of the line at the same time as an arc cant drive a line and a line cant drive an arc.

glad to help
