I am using revit 2008 and I have two questions :

 - I have a logo which I need to pu ton the on the curtain wall - when i put a JPEG it hides the elevation elements behind it, can i interlace the picture of the logo. Currently we are still deciding what the logo will be about, so i just need to add a pic, or maybe I cna out a mass, but it is a hand - i am not sure how to do it.

-the grid lines and column floor lines are 2d elements and it cannot be changed to 3d since that option is greyed out unlike for other elements - i do not know why that is shappening. But I need to set up my grid lines/column lines consistently going across the bldg. I have several sheets for exterior eleevtaions and wall sections. Can i somehow fix it in the model and it fixes everywhere or do I need to do it locally in every file. Currently in some views it is on the side, in the center, or running across the whole bldg. pls suggest a way such that my column grid lines and floor lines run across the bldg. model so i do not have to fix them locally in all the views that they have been set up. Thanks.

Wait for a response eagerly. Thanks so much

Hey Xenn

first Q: You can change the transperancy of the decal ( I assume you are talking about decal), you will find it in the properties, edit/new... from memory

Q2: from the drafting tab select the "Scope Box" tool

in plan, draw the box to the size you want, making sure it's around your building

go to section or elevation and adjust the height of the scope box

click on any grid line, than right click and select all instances

go to properties under the scope box, slect the one you created and click ok

all your grids will now extend to the box.

you can delete the box now.
