Is there any way of using pi in formulas?

I'm trying to determine the central angle of an arc given the chord length and the radius.  The formula I found returns radians.  so I need to convert that to degrees.  Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I'm having a similar problem. http://youtu.be/UCsF4hEbGZQ is a great video on weaving. it's works great in 2012, but I have 2011. it has everything to do with degrees and radiants. in 2012 you can change the measument type of a point to be a angle, rather then radiants which is the only option in 2011. the formula used in the video is below, and I want to value of the formula in a to be in angle 1, which is the hosted paramater for the point on a circle. but if I put a as the value, it's the dreaded inconsistant units message. anyone have any ideas?
