I'm working on a project with metal walls like you would see on metal buildings or shipping containers. I understand that it is easier to use a hatch pattern as opposed to modeling it. However, I feel it is important to be able to show the corrugation in plan. Is there a way to do this? Since the corrugations run vertically, you would see the profile in plan. And as a way of understanding the building's construction it would be beneficial to show this. Any ideas?
