On the project that we are working on, which is split into worksets, occasionally myself or other people on the team will get the message, "You will not be able to Save to Central. This file is no longer compatible with the central file because the same element was changed in both. You can try to transfer your work into a new local file using Copy to Clipboard." Which we have done. This is a very recent problem that we hadn't encountered before. Could someone please give me a little more information about this error message and what can be done to rectify it? Thanks.T!

Did someone open the central file? Do two people have the same user id? If both answers are no, then I don't understand why you had a problem.

This will normally happen if one user opens up 2 sessions of Revit. make sure that only one session is open and like WWHub said, that the user I.D is not the same Setting--> Options... under the General tab
