2008. I noticed that some families such as a "public toilet stall" has the toilet inserted as a family within the "public toilet stall" family. When you tag the family in a project, you can toggle between tagging the stall family and the toilet within the stall family. I created a similar family of a sink with an inserted "soap dispenser" family, but when inserted into a project, I can't toggle between the two families. How can I get it do toggle? They both are of different family categories (plumbing fixtures and specialty equipment).

The nested famil has to be set to share parameters.

Go into your soap dispenser family. Go to Settings -> Family Category and Parameters. Check the box next to Shared and reload this into your sink family. Reload it into your project.
