I am trying to generate a roof plan for a residential project. When I view the roof level it shows the roof but it looks as if it is cutting a square in the roof as if it is not able to view the roof beyond a particular point vertically. I am able to look into the space (room) under the roof. How can I create a roof plan from my model?

Adjust your View Range.. Open view, right click,View Properities,View Range, Cut Plane ( adjust taller) You will also need to adjust the Top so it is higher than the Cut Plane..
