being new at revit,  im fixing to complete my first project and want to create some standard note blocks that i can edit and use over and over from project to project.

we typically use standardized note blocks for each plan/sheet  ie  roof notes, electrical notes etc..

what is the best way to go about this?

thanks for any help.

You could create them as a legend an put them in your project template.

Can you edit these legends?  Depending on the project the plan notes would change depending on the material being used.  Was it easy to do the legends?

i went back and looked at that project and yes it seems quite easy to edit the text as you need.

I dont think i saved them into a project template, so i now have to figure out how to copy them into my other projects & my new project template.

...always learning.

I did find it was quite easy to take my electrical symbol legend (block) from AC and import it into an annotation family and then edit the family as needed.  might not be the right way, but worked when i was in a hurry.
