I'm having problems with visibility of a sub-region on a toposurface. I've created a toposurface and defined a sub-region for a driveway. The sub-region does not show up as a different material in plan or 3d views. The sub-region is definitely there because I can select it. Any ideas?

The sub-region must be set to a different material before it is visable. Select the sub-region, then go to "Element Properties" (Right-Click and element properties is at the bottom.) Under "Materials and Finishes", select the "..." for "Material" and select the material on the left box. Then, press "ok" twice. You should be at the main screen and can turn on "Shading with Edges" to see the material assigned to the sub-region. One note, some materials do not show surface paterns as a sub-region, so it will just be the color. "Cast-in-place Concrete" material is an example.
