I have linked in an architectural plan and I am drawing my mechanical equipment on top of it. In some instances I am accidentally grabing the architectural plan and moving it when I am trying to grab a piece of mechanical equipment. Is there any way to lock the architectural plan in place so that it doesn't move around? Thanks for your feedback!

Have you tried pinning it in place? Highlight the linked drawing at click on the thumb-tack next to the Group command. If you try to move it, it will tell you that it can't move a pinned object.

No problem, glad to help.

You mentioned that you were accidentally moving it...something to keep in mind, when doing a crossing selection to grab a bunch of things, if you catch the pinned drawing in your selection and try and move everything selected, it errors out and won't move any of it with the command. Depending on the linked drawing, it might be hard to avoid selecting it, knowing you selected it and/or finding it to remove from your selection. In your selection filter, linked drawings show up as a single item that is uncheckable...very handy in some cases.
