A have a large floor plan that needs to be broken up into multiple sheets in order to fit on the page. I also have the same floor plan at a smaller scale that shows where all of the match lines are, and what each view is showing. On the smaller scale drawing I would like to turn off lables such as, "up/dn" labels on stairs, "ref." lable on a refridgerator, "dw" label on the dishwasher, etc. Although I would still like these labels to show up on the larger scale drawings. Is there a way to add a visibility parameter to a label within a family that is view specific? I realize that I can control the visibility by hiding it at coarse vs medium detail level, but i'd like to have both plans set on medium detail level. Or is there a way to add a parameter that will "hide at scales coarser than" similar to a section or something? Thanks in advance for your help.

As far as the stairs are concerned - the up/down text can be turned on/off through Visibility/Graphics overrides. I'm not sure about the dishwasher though - unless you changed the label in the family to only show up in Fine Detail level and changed the detail level of your views accordingly.
