hey... I have imported couple hatch patterns from cad...when i did i only had option to change scale...now i need to play with their orientation but it seems that when i go to edit that imported pattern does not have option to rotate (like in simple patterns);  I tried switching it to orient it to object but hatch still wont rotate...?

The real answer .... Model hatches (3d) can be rotated - 2D (drafting) hatches can not.

iF YOU HAVE A 2d HATCH PATTERN, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS EDIT IT AND ADD 1 LINE OF TEXT.

;%TYPE=MODEL

SECOND LINE OF TEXT IN THE FILE.

Sorry for the caps

RE: adding the line %TYPE=MODEL. Where is this added? I opened a .pat file and added another line at the bottom, but this didn't work. What am I missing?
