Hi all,

 I want to request redevelop a Material Tag feature. It work better on Elevation and Section view only.

If we put the date in identity material and used paint feature on object.

But it cannot used in plan view. When i uesd it show deferance with elevation. It will showing default data.

I would like somebody help to look this feature.

I don't like to used Tag by element. Because if i have many material i must to have many object same

If you used the Paint feature to "paint" a material in elevation, then the material is only to the surface of the object. You will need to define the material to the family (i.e. wall, floor, ceiling.....) in order to use the Material tag in all views.

Thanks. Yes that way, Tag will work when we put the data in wall family. If i have alot finishing wall. I will have alot wall family too. If Tag material can work with paint feature. It will make very easy to my work.

How the way to do 1 wall family can put many material with work with tag material on plan. On elevation it can do ? why plan can not ?
