I'm installing some pendant lights in a building that has exposed structure. Lights wont place when there is no ceiling. How can i get around this, and get the pendant light to reach a slopped roof.

The pendant light you have is ceiling based. You can create a new family that is not ceiling based or you can create a ceiling that overlays your structure and has no thickness.
