Is there any way to half tone a plan region? My example is that on my ground floor plan, I want to be able to show a Loading dock area which is outside the building line and a level below, but with lighter/greyer lines - so i started by making a plan region. I guess this would also apply to seeing roofs below in half tone. I tried changing the lines in V/G but this only changed the actual outline of the plan region, not the "window view". thanks.

Set the plan region leave the primary view range as is but change the view depth(the bottom box) to the level below. ths will put the objects on that level to the Beyond linestyle. Check your object styles and make sure your beyond linestyle is set to a grey color.
