Hi all,

building an baluster-panel family! 

I need to create a grid array pattern, each element [ geometrically a void] in the pattern is the same, but i would like to make the width ,height and spacing parametric. the elements are square but 45degrees rotated!

 problem 1: the array is really slowing down the performance

 problem 2: to parametrically dimension the spacing is nog possible somehow problem 3: updating the parameters is slow and not correct!

how to?  

 the baluster panel should in the end be an cnc-milled or perforated plate, the pattern is the data that should be cutted from the plate?

hi all,

i do have big difficulties to create a baluster panel  that nicely fits to corners! the problem seems to be that the alignment of the panel [width = fixed to 2000] does not wrap nicely with the sketch!

is there a good tutorial for this item?

Hi,

Did you have the baluster panel issue resolved? I am working on similar problem creating a perforated panel, but cannot adjust the holes to show correctly as a parameter.
