I am using Architecture 2008.  I have not having any sucess using a pattern to show stone on both the elevations and the 3D model.  I have tried using a model pattern, but the stone wouldn't show up in the elevations.  So, I tried the Cobblefield 3107 download pattern which is a drafting pattern.  Now the pattern shows up nicely in my elevations, but doesn't show up in my 3D.  I tired windowing in on the view in the 3D and the pattern isn't there.  It goes gray...which I have figured out is controled on the Surface Pattern Color that I have set to gray.  How do I get stone to show up on both my 3D and elevations?  What am I missing?

a model pattern is what you need and it should show up in 3d and elevation. check the scale of your 3d view and zoom in. at far zooms revit turns off surf patterns or makes them a solid grey if they are tight patterns to save on graphic regen time. they will print and if you zoom in you will see them.

Thanks for your response.  I went back and tried the model pattern again.  I messed around with the scale and now it seems to show up in both the elevation in 3D.  Not exactly how I would love it to be...BUT at least it now shows up.  I like the Cobblefield pattern.  Anyone know a model pattern that is similiar I'd love to be directed to where to find it.  Thanks...
