We have 5 buildings all separate revit files, these were based on a local architects grid (very close to 0,0). The architects have now moved the grid to an OS grid location which is miles away from the orional one (2900200,5600000 easting and northing. What is the best way of relocating this project?. I am having problems using the 'relocate project' command, when i do this, and then try and link the new autocad grid using the 'origin to origin' setting i get the error ' to far away from model, will be inserted at centre to centre' which is no good to me!!. if i physically move the entire project to the new location, will the fact it is so far away from 0,0 affect the geometry in revit? any help would be greatly appreciated.
