Does anyone have any solutions on how to force metal deck symbol lines to be perpendicular & in the strong direction of the deck edge? Attached is the partially completed metal deck/concrete family. Thanks for your help. David

Go to a plan view of your roof. Make sure that you have your span direction symbol on. Click on your span direction symbol and then in the options toolbar choose align perpendicular. Then choose your joists or beams below. This will change the direction Hope that helps. Let me know. JB

JB, Thanks for the suggestion. Do you know of a way that I can align the deck symbol independently of the span arrows yet be apart of the same family? Thanks. David
