I have been trying to work out how to apply an integer to a parameter such that a number entered would dictate multple divisions in casework or mullions in a window. Help!

You need to setup a label for you array. Once the array is created, select one of the elements and hover over the 2 (no of items in array) and click tab to select the line itself. Then select and add a parameter or link an already created parameter.
If you need a further break down, check out my tutorial.
HTH.
