I use revit 2008. Experience from other rendering programs tells me that i have to export the image as a tiff file in order to select my model in photoshop (alpha channel). I've looked in forums and people say that it can be done with revit as well, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Once the image is fully rendered, I click on the 'Export Image' button in the rendering pulldown. My file type options are JPG, JPEG, BMP, and PNG. Do one of these file types do alpha channel or is there a way to export my image as a tiff? Thanks for the help.

the latest Revit build (Build Number 20070810_1700) allows you to export tiff format HTH

Thanks coreed. I should've mentioned I'm new to Revit. Where can i find the revit build #? Is it just a plugin for the Revit version i have now? Thanks
