Alright, so I'm taking on a first for me. I'm trying to create a detail component family of rebar (just detail lines). (Since I can't stand the rebar tool in Revit) Yes I have heard about Extensions4Revit! My company is still hesitant about 3rd party software. I'm trying to write it into the parameters so that I can enter the depth of the grade beam, the spacing of the bars. and then the equation will give me answer and draw in the appropriate bars. Sounds pretty simple, but I'm lost for ideas now. I want sort of like a "yes/no" param but it should just copy the correct amount depending on the formula. Anyone think this is possible? I have already made params for the depth of the beam and the spacing. but I'm wondering if it's possible to do the rest? Thanks for your help. Sorry if this makes no sense! JB
