how do you attach door handles, (when your still making them) to a wall. i saw that some wall scones (when you edit them) are attached to a wall. revit 08

Im not really sure what your saying...but to make something wall hosted you have to create a wall hosted family which is found under the Family Templates. I dont think there are any door hosted, but there is a face baced family. Also you want to put all door handles in? Seems to be getting a bit detailed for 3D, on larger projects you are going to see major file slow downs among other issues.
