Using Revit Architecture '08. I have some structural wood beams set to the angle of the roof. I am having trouble getting them to chamfer to join one another at the gable. It always leaves a gap between the two right at the gable. Do anyone know how to fix this?

No, i just filed a support request today on this issue. I'll let you know what comes of it. In the meantime I found a great workaround. I create a roof thats material is wood and its thickness is the size of dimension lumber.  Then I use the openning tool to "void" out the space between rafters. Now I have a fully modeled roof framing that I can change the slope on, change the ends to square even add sweeps too.  Note this technique is not recommended for large framing jobs but works very well for open trellis type structures. YOu can also place multiple roofs of verying thicknesses on top of each other for hip rafters that are larger in size. Or even use fascia sweeps with 2x10 or 2x8 profiles on the hips and they join very nicely.

Yeah, that is what I have been doing to get around it, but finally got tired of "rigging" it. I was hoping to find a legit way of doing it. Thanks for the info and keep me posted on what you find out.
