I'm working on a building and I need to create an alternate plan in case the owner doesn't like the first option. It's only a couple doors at the end of the hallway, nothing to warrant a whole new file. But I can't find a way to make those changes without affecting the main floor plan. Is there any view or way to adjust a wall or two and a door in a view without affecting the original plan?

TIA-

Devin

Broncos is correct about the design options. It's very easy to use and set up. If Design Options is not on your tool bar yet you can access it by right clicking on your tool bar and checking the "Design Options" option. You will have to set up a secondary option when you first start setting up the design options. Once you have your option sets set up you need to add the elements to the option sets that will be dependent on the option. This is the easy part because all you have to do is select the items you want added and click the "Add to Design Option Set" on the tool bar. Make sure that you are in the correct option set before you add them though. You can click on the "Edit Option" icon to change between option sets. If you have any problems let me know and I'll help you throught it.

Thanks guys, Design Options was exactly what I needed. After a while getting everything coordinated, it all works great.
