IS there a way to export models from Revit into Max and those models (components) retain there shape. I have a public toilet model, in Revit the toilets and urinals are nice and smooth, when i open it in Max there go all polygonated. Is that a word????? : p, you know what i mean though, kinda of like pixelated but with polygons

So you obviously know to export a 3d model to a cad dwg. did you 1) set up your layers? so that not everything is same (layer0 i believe) 2) have you tryed exporting using acis solid? you will have to reapply materials and lighting, but i know its recommended to export as a polymesh. Also in max have you tried clicking on say a wall and going to its properties to see if there is an underlaying material currently applied? i also have a pdf for max 9 that details how its done, ive attached it below. Hope some of this may have atleast pointed you in the right direction.
