I am working in Revit Systems 2 with a linked architectural model.  The problem that I am having is that in Revit Systems 2 when I go to make a ceiling plan per a level, it defaults to the architectural discipline and shows everything like I would expect.  Then when I go into the view properties and change the discipline and change it to electrical, the ceiling grid disappears.  I can select the boundary, but that is it.  View ranges and visibility graphics look correct.  If I am in Revit Building 9.1 and do the same procedure in the original model, everything works the way it should in both the architectural and electrical discipline option of the ceiling plan.  I have no idea what is going on, or what steps are getting mixed up.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just tried an example ceiling model in RA 2008.

When the ceiling is sketched in the Architectural discipline in comes in as "medium" weight lines.

When I either change the VIEW PROPERTIES of the whole view, or change the ceiling itself to the ELECTRICAL discipline, it fades slightly, but it is STILL VISIBLE in all view modes.

POSSIBLE PROBLEM:  Go to SETTINGS > OBJECT STYLES and adjust your CEILING lineweight in PROJECTION mode?
