Version 9.1 I just finished a family with a new sub category line type. (symbolic) I have placed the family in the model and changed all existing instances to match the new family. I do not want this line to show in every view so I changed my view templates to turn this line off in those views. NOW FOR THE PROBLEM I applied the correct view templates. However, when I open the views, the linework is still there. I check the VG for the view and it correctly shows that the lines should be off. No matter how many times I close the view and re-open it or check the VG, the linework is still there..... BUT if I change the VG for anything.... the linework disappears. This is not a nice problem to have. I can't trust REVIT to correctly show a view even though it is set correctly. Seems that REVIT has a problem here. I've just installed REVIT Architecture and I will see if it has the same problem
