Has anyone encountered open web bar joists with different seat depths on each end?  We have them quite frequently and I cannot figure out how to modify the family accordingly. Being able to slope the seats would be great too.  These features and start/end seat lengths & end extensions should come out of the box in my opinion.

Thanks for posting that after you fixed it!

Can you tell me how you got it?

I created parameters for the other end "B" but I can't get end "B" to respond separately from end "A".

Which lines do I unlock and lock to my new reference plane (bottom of seat "B"Winking?

Thanks

JB

You have to remove all the exissting constraints on the seats , not only on the side views but the end views as well.  Then add new reference planes to each end to constrain too.

Thanks!!! When you did it, did you remove all constraints from both sides and then start over?

Thanks again!

JB

Have either of you guys tried to adjust the seat widths of bar joists? I'm sure it has something to do with the Chord Leg length but I'm having some issues getting that to work for me. Any ideas?
