It would be helpful to have the ability to break a gridline in the center in certain views, similar to section cuts, in order to unclutter an elevation drawing but still be able to reference levels.

You can toggle the 3D/2D extents of gridlines. Select a gridline and you will see a "3D" tag next to the control. If you click this tag it will change to "2D" and allow you to move that endpoint independantly for that view only. As breaking a gridline between the head and the endpoint, I don't think that is possible at this time. HTH

great, that might be just what we need to do for this project but I do think it would still be helpful if the break function could be incorporated into the gridlines in the program.  Thanks a lot though!

I agree with Macy, it would be good to be able to break gridlines to clean up the floor plans.  I have a situation at this moment where I could use that feature.  Using version 9.1.

I echo the desire to make gridlines able to break in the center - I've got an overly cluttered floor plan, so it looks like I'll have to revert to ACAD for this one.
