Helo Everyone I'm an oldtimer who's been using ArchiCAD in my private practice for over 13 years on Mac's. I have recently joined a firm and will be working on Revit on a Windows OS. Needless to say the change feels drastic. I'll have allot of question and hope to gets some advice from some of you have made a similiar converstion. Still trying to get a handle on how the program thinks. Any advice will be welcomed.

I would suggest taking a day and simply going through the tutorials imbedded in the help menu. It seems really tedious, but it will help you learn the Revit lingo. I also find that the help menu search option is a wealth of knowledge when you're first starting. If you find that you have no idea how to do what you want to do, just type in a search phrase and read, read, read. Usually it doesn't take very long to find something that references what you're trying to do. Welcome to Revit!
