does anyone know what this means? Preferred order section: Place frequently used shortcuts here to advance them in the first letter sequence.Example placing the "WA" menu:"modelling-wall" at the top of the list will makeit first in the selection sequence for "W". why at the top of a list? isn't "WA" for wall no matter where it is on the list? what does "advance them in the first letter sequence" mean? selection sequence for "W" ???

This is because in Revit you do not have to hit enter to envoke a command, therefor the program has a small delay between the time you enter the shortcut to the time it enters the command. The reason to have "WA" at the top of the list is so when you hit the "W" it allows you to enter the second letter. Otherwise it would not recognize two letter shortcuts that start with the same letter as a single letter shortcut. I know I'm rambling here but I hope this helps.

"The reason to have "WA" at the top of the list is so when you hit the "W" it allows you to enter the second letter." when would it not allow you to enter the second letter?

Sorry about that. When I wrote that post I was really tired... What I meant to say was that by putting the most common shortcut at the top of this list, the command will be the first to appear on the status bar when just the first letter is pushed. I found it really doesn't help because to envoke this command with just the first letter you have to hit the space bar. Might as well hit the second letter because it will enter the command after the shortcut is enter. I hope this makes sense.
