I have a pitched roof with a gable, the problems is my roof fascia. I made two for the fascia family (one for the pitch and one that has no pitch for the gable end). Please see the attached image, how do I make a fascia to tie together at a corner of the gable and pitch? or any tutorial suggestions? Thanks!

you would be better off using the fascia command under the modeling tab>sweep>roof fascia.

This is actually a very handy command for doing sweeps in general. If you ever get stuck with fascia that doesn't behave like you want it to, attach the fascia to model lines.

Revit roofs and fascia is something to be desired. Not quite a friendly command.

I should probably tell you how LOL. Make a profile family of your shape, then upload that profile family to your project (and also don't forget your template file too) make the fascia command, go to properties, and dig deep to where it asks the profile to be used for the fascia

thanks, but the corner still doesn't work. I made the roof fascia sweep, and it works fine until the pitch and the gable meets. please tell me what I am missing. I haven't seen this instance on any tutorials.

Thanks for any help you can give me!
