Please advise on how i can get a batt insulation pattern in my drawing. Downloaded the hatch pattern but it does not import. Tried to open the file but error message indicates that it needs to be manually imported. What does that mean.

Thanks

Gar

Why not just use the Insulation tool?

Ended up doing that, but was hopin to get the right pattern associated with the wall so I don't have to draw it in all the time.

You would need to create a material with the pattern you've found. then edit your wall type to have that material as the core, ie a material called Stud - Insul filled.

The only problem with this is how to mark the identity information (keynotes, etc) for both the studs AND the insulation. They are sharing the same position.
