I am trying to create a dimension string that will read metric and english measurements on the same line without having to put up dummy text. Anyone ever done something like this?

Can't do it as one dimension, but I wouldnt create dummy text. Instead create two types of dimension strings, one english, and one metric. Snap the same dimension and then just move the text of the dimesions around. This way if the length changes so will both of the values.
