I downloaded a family component from the library. It's a kohler toilet. My question is wether it's possible to smooth its edges so I just get its outline when looking at it from side or top views.
It's really not very nice placing it on a plan and having all its edges around the round forms appearing. Can anyone help me?

It is not possible to smooth the edges as i beleive the Kohler series are all dwg imports.
The best way would be to turn off the 3d model in the visibilty settings for everything except for 3D, then use symbolic lines to show the shape in plans and elevations. It may also been an idea to load a detail component with included filled regions others floor surface patterns will show through the toilet in plan etc...
