[revit architecture 2008 ] by my way of thinking, in order to create a parametric truss, in order to create a truss in revit that is dependent on length and depth, you need the modulo operator. you divide length by depth, see how much is left over, and from the left over piece, you can calculate how much to adjust the 45 degree angle of the web pieces. is there any way to peform the modulo operation in revit ?

Sounds like a fairly easy formula to me... Just apply formulas to the appropriate parameters and I can't see any reason you can't achieve that. Also note, In revit Structure 2008 there is now a truss maker tool...
