Since area and volume are available as room schedule columns with automatic fillin of those amounts, why not a ceiling height column?  Anyone know a way to set this up?

I created a ceil hgt column, set it up to calculate "Volume/Area", set the cells to be "lengths" as well as all the other possibilities, but have had no luck getting ceil hgts to show up.  Any suggestions?

I am unable to edit the formula on "Volume" since I guess it is controlled within the project.  I checked the ceiling family and don't find any way to make it "room bounding" like you can the walls.  Is there some setup problem that could cause the ceiling not to allow the volume to be calculated?

When I select a room's ceiling and click on its "properties" there is a volume category shown.  It apparently is the area of ceiling times its thickness because it is way less than the actual volume would be.  I guess this is a generic volume of any item selected not of the space that it encloses.

 Any suggestions?  Anyone?  Anyone?
