Bjorn. Thanks again for your timely response.

When you import a Sketchup file, do you break down the items in Sketchup? Or is there any way, you can split the items after importing into Navisworks.

Hi Smurf76, 

 

 I have made rendered movie presentations in the past that illustrate the construction process of a project, but you need to use 3rd party software to achieve this (windows moviemaker is fine)

 

Basically, you set up a view and render an image for each phase, the stitch them together in the movie making software. The potential for this is pretty amazing though, there is alot you can do. Let me know if you'd like to discuss anything further!

While simulating a project in 4D, Navisworks shows 0% (task start), and 100% (end of task) in the model. What do i do if i want to visualise 50% (part completion) of a task o be shown in the model. Pn- Schedule to Be attached in MSP For eg- activity X takes 5 days to complete, can navis works represent part completion( say 20%, 40%) as it simulates from day 1 to day 5
