I am trying to insert a decal that is not a square (its a logo).  When it renders, revit fills in the space around the logo with white so that it filles the square shape.   Is there a way to turn this off?

Thank you

anybody have a better way to do this? I created an image in photoshop with a transparent background and saved it as a .tif; I tried this with a decal hoping it'd show through but I still got the white box. I ended up making the brackground of the image file the same colour as the wall a got an okay result. Pain if the butt if I end up chaning the wall paint colour though.

Simple... use two (2) PNG images BUT one of them must have a black background, then in your decal properties you gonna choose the two images and in CUTOUTS select the "black background" image... Done.

thanks typhoon! it worked best when making the second image a true mask by narrowing it down to just two colours. Thanks for the tip!
