Any tips for programming shortcut keys for symbols, such as for example is there a shortcut program key for the degree symbol and the diameter symbol?

I found this on a previous thread. Ø diameter is created with Alt+0216The ° is created with ALT+0176 you can find all of the Alt keycodes at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Alt_keycodes
